Ibrahim Moiz is a student of international relations and history. He received his BA from the University of Toronto, where he researched the conflicts in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He has written about politics and political actors in the Muslim world for both academia and the media. He is the author of The True Story of the Taliban: Emirate and Insurgency, 1994-2021 (Selangor: The Other Press, 2024).
