Turkey Operations DirectorAhsan Shafiq completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Hertfordshire in 2010 and his postgraduate studies at the University of Leeds in 2012. He began his professional journey as a faculty member at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan in 2013. Between 2017 and 2021, he served as the Coordinator of the Islamic Economics Research Center (IKAM) in Istanbul and the Associate Editor of the Turkish Journal of Islamic Economics. He served as the International Promotion Manager of the ILKE Foundation until 2023. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Ibn Haldun University and serving as the Türkiye Operations Director at the Ummatics Institute.
