Jonathan Laurence is the director of the Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy and the author of many books and articles on culture, religion, and politics. A professor of political science at Boston College and a former fellow of the Brookings Institution and the American Academy in Berlin, Laurence is a member of the board of directors of Reset Dialogues US. His work has appeared in the New York Times, The Economist, Foreign Affairs, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and Le Monde. Jonathan received his BA from Cornell, his CEP from Sciences Po-Paris, and his PhD from Harvard.
