Monzer Kahf is Professor of Islamic Finance and Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Sabahattin Zaim University, Istanbul, Türkiye. Dr. Kahf is a distinguished scholar of Islamic economics and finance, author of 35 books, over 75 articles, and contributor to numerous conferences and encyclopedia articles on Awqaf, Zakat, Islamic finance and banking, and other areas of Islamic economics. Dr. Kahf has served in various roles, including Collaborative Expert at the Islamic Fiqh Academy, IMF Advisor on Islamic Finance, Head of Research at IRTI-IDB, Senior Research Economist, and Finance Director at the Islamic Society of North America.
