Ramzy Baroud is a Palestinian journalist, media consultant, author, internationally syndicated columnist, Editor of the Palestine Chronicle (1999–present), former Editor-in-Chief of the London-based Middle East Eye, former Editor-in-Chief of The Brunei Times, and former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al Jazeera online. He has served as Head of Research and Studies at Aljazeera.net English, and taught mass communication at Curtin University of Technology Malaysia, Australia. Dr. Baroud is the author of six books and has contributed to many others, including his latest, Our Vision of Liberation: Engaged Palestinian Leaders and Intellectuals Speak, which he co-edited with Ilan Pappe. His books have been translated into many languages, including French, Turkish, Arabic, Korean, Malayalam, and more. He holds a Ph.D. He received his BA in Palestinian Studies from the University of Exeter (2015) and served as a Non-Resident Scholar at the Orfalea Center for Global and International Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2016-17). He is currently a Non-Resident Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA), Istanbul Zaim University (IZU).
