Research Articles

The Ummatics Institute publishes original research articles on a variety of Ummah issues for the benefit of scholars, students and enthusiasts.

Our articles serve to develop, engage and advance both academic and popular discourses on Ummah thought and practice by interrogating a variety of social, political, economic, religious and historical questions most relevant to the life and future of the Muslim Ummah.

Classical Texts Series

This series compiles the writings of classical Muslim scholars, using the four schools of jurisprudence as an organizing framework.

Selected passages, translated and annotated by experts, focus on key issues such as the role of politics and governance in Islam, adherence to sharia, the social obligation of leadership, and the religious significance of political unity.

Guest Contributions

In the spirit of our commitment to encouraging dialogue and developing discourse on ummatic thought and practice, Ummatics provides a space for a selection of guest contributions. The views expressed in these posts are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the views of Ummatics.

Translated Works

As the Ummatics Institute, we are working to translate our core articles into languages widely spoken in the Muslim world in order to reach a wider audience.
